Have you ever heard the phrase “You can’t see the forest for the trees”? Journaling accelerates personal growth because it helps us to see the bigger picture of life.
When we are focused on our lives right now, at this moment, we don’t always see the patterns or trends emerging in our lives. Journaling about your day will quite often reveal some rather startling truths.
Honestly, some of these truths you will want to see and celebrate. Others not so much because we realize these past, present, or potentially future ideas can harm us.
So, I encourage you to pay attention to your previous entries, as you write about today. If you are experiencing a sense of déjà vu, ask yourself why. It might be you wrote about this before. If so, go back and check. You might be surprised at what you find.
My desire is to help you know, live, and love your purpose. That means growing personally. Journaling accelerates personal growth and it is an investment that always nets you a good return!

Your Turn to Write: If you could go back and relive a moment of your life, what would it be? Why?
Do you find yourself procrastinating on this idea of journaling? I have, for sure, and it’s why I created my email series, “Procrastination to Productive!” I invite you to get this series for free by clicking here.
